People in Canada must be so excited to hear that almost all the up to date Ford automobiles sold in their country will be offered at great discounts between 953 and 6,735 dollars. Even the price of the Ford F-Series pickup, the most famous vehicle in this second largest country in the world, has been cut off. What’s more, it is assumed that Chrysler Canada will eventually go after the trend started by Ford. It will also come up with an incentive plan. It is reported that the consumer motivation program of Chrysler will cover investments on certain vehicles and a gas discount card that entitles consumers of 20 per liter savings for an annual driving.

So what’s the reason behind this discount galore in Canada? Well, obviously, the primary aim of such program is to catch the attention of a certain market. The target market of this marketing strategy is basically the expanding group of Canadians who opt to buy automobiles in the United States than in Canada.
In reality, automobiles cost more in Canada. That is why most Canadians seek to purchase a new vehicle from the Unite States. “It’s much cheaper to buy vehicles in the States than it is in Canada… are probably offering more to get people to buy the cars in Canada. A friend of mine bought a Porsche Cayenne in Seattle for about US$20,000 less than what it would have cost him in Vancouver,” explained Edmunds.com analyst Alex Rosten.
So to encourage Canadians to purchase Ford and Chrysler models from their own country, the two automakers are carrying out their respective discount programs. This time, Canadians no longer have to look too far just to get a great vehicle deal.
